  • GREEN CREDENTIALS

    Two world-class catalysts purify exhaust gases and use fewer resources during manufacture. Waiting at traffic lights, the Mazda3 is busy saving fuel using idle-stop technology. Because it uses combustion energy to restart the engine, it’s twice as fast as some other systems.

  • NEW POWERTRAINS

    The refreshed engine line-up perfectly balances fuel economy and rewarding performance. Choose from 1.6- or 2.0-litre petrol and 1.6- or 2.2-litre diesel; each paired with responsive transmissions – 5- or 6-speed manual and 5-speed automatic.

  • GRAM STRATEGY

    The all-new Mazda3 promises a truly dynamic drive – and is safer, lower in emissions and more fuel efficient than ever. That’s due in part to the meticulous weight saving process – Mazda’s ‘gram strategy’ – like the greater use of strong, light, high-tensile steel.

  • AERODYNAMICS

    Less drag means better performance and greater fuel efficiency. The all-new Mazda3’s optimised air intake surface behind the front grille area, its centre floor cover, cover under the rear bumper and specially designed body elements help to make one of the most aerodynamic cars in its class.

  • CHASSIS

    The all-new Mazda3 has a more rigid body than the earlier model and its suspension is enhanced, so it’s even more stable, even more comfortable and even more fun to drive. It’s quieter too, so that you can enjoy a ride of even greater comfort.

  • ACTIVE SAFETY

    To keep you out of harm’s way, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Emergency Stop Signaling (ESS) are fitted as standard. Bi-Xenon headlamps with an Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), Rear Vehicle Monitoring (RVM) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are also available on certain models.

  • EXTREME HEAT

    The all-new Mazda3 was tested in more than 20 locations in 11 countries. Nevada, USA was one of the environments that enabled the integrity of every component to be analysed under the hottest temperatures – over 40°C, in fact – for later refinement.

  • EXTREME COLD

    The Mazda3 was rigorously tested, including in extreme cold weather – even to below -25°C – in places like northern Japan. So it can confidently promise reliably dynamic performance (and effective air conditioning!) in every imaginable driving condition.

  • MPS - THE SUPERHATCH

    It seemed impossible that the Mazda3 could get any sportier. Then in zoomed the Mazda3 MPS. No wonder it’s called the Performance Series. 

    LOOKS
    The dramatic all-new Mazda3 MPS features an imposing and aggressive stance. With its bonnet power bulge, assertive twin exhaust, lowered sports suspension and sleek 18” alloys, it really is a sight to behold.

    HANDLING
    The all-new Mazda3 MPS feels secure at high speeds thanks to its increased stiffer bodyshell and special reinforcements, a modified suspension and larger road-gripping 18” tyres. The special dampers and large 320mm vented front disc brakes also make the new Mazda3 MPS more controllable by realizing this powerful new model’s potential.

    PERFORMANCE
    Rapid acceleration from 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds. A massive 380Nm of tummy-twisting torque and 260ps of power ensures a top speed of a limited 155mph.
