What is RSS?
RSS – or, to spell it out, Really Simple Syndication – is an easy way to get news and information from websites delivered to you directly, without clogging up your email inbox.
The content is supplied as a ‘feed’.
You need an RSS reader, a small piece of software, to collect and show RSS feeds.
The latest versions of web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 7 ((http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx), Firefox 3 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) and Safari 4 (http://www.apple.com/safari/), have built-in RSS readers. There are also many websites which enable yu to manage your RSS feeds such as iGoogle (http://www.google.com/ig ), and Netvibes (http://www.netvibes.com).
Your RSS reader will tell you how to subscribe to our feed, though it is usually as simple as clicking on the RSS symbol.
